The preparation of export industries comes at the top of the set objectives.

The operating investments in the Zone:

-      The number of licences granted to investors is 415 licences. The commercial system forms a ratio of 80%. These include the import, export, re-export, and transit trade to neighbouring states.

-      The total invested area is 600,000 m².

-      The industrial activity started to assume an important role, by the entry of some companies in the plastic products industry and some Sudanese exports processing industries; such as, gum Arabic and oil seeds (like sesame).For increasing the investment capacities, Dubai Islamic Bank implemented depots, by an area of 40,000m², at high quality specifications.
